![]() | William Moeller Board Chair William, a Birdland resident, joined the board in March 2008 and is the creative director for SEMI, a high tech trade association. As interim treasurer, William is responsible for financial oversight and has recently: overseen the transition of the bookkeeping to Foothill Financial Services to ensure that all our records meet accounting standards; established a money handling protocol; and worked with Liz on developing a balanced 2009 budget. He will also lead our sales and marketing committee to drive these efforts that are critical to both fund-raising and public awareness. |
![]() | Victoria M. Armigo Treasurer Victoria is a small business owner, and has been offering bookkeeping and tax preparation services to other small businesses for 25 years. She currently serves on the board as Treasurer of Automation Programming Inc., and is a member of numerous organizations including Peak Oil Awareness Santa Clara Valley, Transition Silicon Valley and the American Farmland Trust, just to name a few. Victoria believes strongly in building local resilience and planning towards a lower energy future. Victoria will be overseeing our budgeting process and offering guidance on financial policies and procedures. We are thankful for her expertise, commitment and dedication to the organization and know she will be invaluable in helping attain our goals and fulfilling our mission. |
![]() | Jenny Williams Secretary Jenny is a usability engineer at Oracle Corporation and was previously a research associate at NASA Ames Research Center. She is an environmental advocate with 10 years of experience in volunteer leadership roles. Jenny will continue to serve as program manager for Charles Street Gardens, a volunteer post she has filled since October 2008; working with the garden manager to oversee marketing and fundraising efforts, managing the finances, coordinating membership activities and managing the website. In her board role, Jenny’s education in psychology and experience designing, implementing and analyzing research surveys will be invaluable in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the metrics we use to measure organizational performance. Jenny will also be active in our sales and marketing and fundraising activities. |
![]() | JoAnn Davis JoAnn joined the board in 2007 and is currently Operations Manager for Fehr & Peers transportation consultants. She has over 20 years of experience with local nonprofit organizations as staff and volunteer. JoAnn is responsible for preparing and maintaining all of the official records for the organization and is leading the revision of SCG bylaws to reflect the current organization, working with Liz Snyder, our interim Executive Director, on establishing staff goals, processes and procedures and overall operational effectiveness. |
![]() | Lubab Sheet Lubab joined the board in August 2008 and is Director of Strategic Development for Lam Research Corporation. She previously served on the boards of The Youth Foundation in Monterey and Loaves & Fishes Family Kitchen of San Jose, CA. Lubab is responsible for oversight and leadership of SCG in partnership with our interim Executive Director, Liz Snyder. She has led the development of a three year strategic plan and a new board development process to be used in recruiting new board members. |
![]() | Keith Fabisiak, MD Keith joined Kaiser in 1991 as a staff pediatrician and currently serves as Assistant Chief of Pediatrics at Permanente Medical Group of Santa Clara and Pediatric Site Chief at Kaiser Campbell Medical Offices. Keith is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics and Member of the Santa Clara County Medical Association. He is passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and habits for children, and is an avid gardener, something he has done since he was a child. Many of you may have met Keith at our Earth Day Festival where he was running the square foot gardening workshops. The board is thrilled to welcome Keith. ![]() | Tom Fortier Tom Fortier comes to Full Circle Farm as a General Contractor and originally helped create the borders for the farm in order to bring water, sewer and power to the fields, though the city of Sunnyvale. He grew up in Western Massachusetts in a small farming community, and spent his youth picking pretty much everything that grows, before and after school. With an extensive background in local community economics, CSA Farming and business, Tom has worked with organizations across the country to promote local sustainable farming and businesses and would like to see the Full Circle Farm model flourish throughout the U.S. Tom will be instrumental in ensuring we are in compliance as we expand operations and construction at the farm. He has been a supporter and donor since the farm’s inception and we are thankful for his expertise, commitment and dedication to the organization. Tom will be invaluable in helping attain our goals and fulfilling our mission. |
